Hello,
is it possibel to remove the shareable edit mode from a module? If yes, how? :)
Thanks,
Stefan

You must set the access rights for each object back to "Inherit from parent". Either use the Object properties dialogue box, or the 'string inherited(Object o)' perm à la
Object o
for o in current Module
do
{inherited o
}

The question was: is it possible to remove the shareable edit mode from a module
There's more to this than meets the eye w.r.t fully removing shareable edit mode.
Peter has correctly provided a solution at the functional level, but there is also an irreversible physical aspect to this mode that you should be aware of.
The functional method that DOORS uses to enable Shareable Edit mode is to use Access Rights at the selected Heading Levels to allow multiple users to open up a module and to lock and edit selected sections of that module.
At the physical level on the DOORS DB, DOORS has to break up the files its uses to manage the module. For every shareable section, a file chunk is created. Operating systems, like Windows, will only allow one user to have an edit handle to a file at a time. So DOORS has to break up it's module files at the DB level so that users can get their own independent handle on the chunk that represents the section they want to edit. The down side to this is that once DOORS chunks up the module files, it cannot, or at least doesn't support and ability to merge them back into one contiguous file again. If you have over chunked your module with too many shareable sections, you will see a degradation in performance when using the module as the DOORS server has to manage many more files.
So even though you can remove the access rights that functionally enable the Shareable Edit mode, don't expect this to correct any performance issues you may have encountered as a result of having too many shareable sections.
This is why the Shareable Edit dialogue only provides a selection up to level 4 as it's assuming that you may have many more sections at these lower heading levels than at the higher heading levels. I do seem to recall that it will give you a warning prompt if it thinks you will be creating too many shareable chunks.
I usually only set shareable sections at level 2 and rarely go beyond level 3.

Tested the irreversibility of shareable edit on DOORS 8.3. It seems that if the inherit is set on in exclusive edit mode at least in my simple testing session the module fragments were deleted after closing the module.
The "section" files were left on disk, but it seems that those were not used by the DB server as they can be deleted. Does this mean that the DB server does a merge of the module segments?
See the attached Word document for results.

Excellent investigation Pekka - I think I have to stand corrected unless there's some funny smoke and mirrors going on, looks as though Telelogic fixed this but I don't recall this in any "What's Fixed" release notes.
I don't have immediate access to version 7.1, but I'm pretty sure DOORS wasn't merging its shareable edit chunks in that version as I was hit on a couple of occassions with performance issues due to this problem. I also recall Telelogic support staff lamenting this problem on or around that version as well.

7.1 SR2 merged the files.

Yes, old DOORS kept the separate files indefinately. New DOORS documentation somewhere recommends frequently opening a Shareable module Exclusively and saving it, just to reduce the clutter and speed up access times. I don't know, but I would expect that frequently removing all shared sections, saving, and then re-setting the shared sections will likely also speed it up.
But just to be a twit, you CAN remove 'shareable' edit from a module with a post-open module trigger that
...... if (isShare(mod)) downgrade(mod)
A 'pre-open' won't work since you don't know the mode of the about-to-be opened module.

Hello,
so, if i understand, after many works in Shareable Edit mode, module is truncated in many files.
Is it possible to compact again this module ?

You don't see the 'truncated' separate files. You can cause the DB to merge these DB files by, as stated above, Editing the module and saving it; thus speeding up routine access.
